  • Supports streamlining community engagement data collection
  • Data visualization of community partners and legislative and city districts
  • Identifies community partners as active collaborators with campus
  • Showcases collaboration between UNO and community
  • Available for anyone to view
  • Project focus areas and activities
  • Enhances opportunities for understanding and expanding impact
  • Campus users enter project data with access to more detailed analytics (campus users only)
  • Exportable reports (table view)

Components of CEPI

CEPI is simple, it brings together community partners, campus patners, and uniqeu collaborations. These projects are then publised in a series of reports, charts, and maps. These are required elements of a project in order for it to be visible throughout the tool.

Community Partners

  • A nonprofit, business, government, k-12, or higher education organization that is involved in a collaborative project with one or more campus partners. A community partner must be tied to a project entry to show up on the maps and reports.

Campus Partners

  • A UNO-based organization, unit, or department that is involved in a collaborative project with one or more campus partners.

Projects

  • A collaboration between the campus and community that fits within one or more of the different Engagement Types. Projects are also aligned with a variety of focus areas and topics. Projects can include one or multiple campus and community partners.

Campus User Access and Information

UNO faculty, staff, and students can request for access as a campus user by contacting partnerships@unomaha.edu. Once you are given access, you will utilize your UNO credentials and duo authentification process.

Campus User Tips

  • Project information is easy to enter as a campus user with drop-downs to select from, while providing you a space to also share a description, input UNO and k-12 students involved, multiple contacts or leads, as well as a project location.
  • Campus partners are organized by official titles, offices, and departments - these are automatically connected to colleges and main units in the system (reporting and data entry)
  • If you add a new project via the "Projects" and "Create a Project" option, please be sure to use a unique name for your project followed by parenthesis, semester, and year - for example "(Fall 2022)"

General Tips for All Users

  • It is helpful to filter by "All Academic Years" when browsing CEPI
  • Use/search with official community or university names
  • Use the variety of filters provided on the different pages and reports
